Enrichment Course Offering
Working, playing, and BUILDING your own board game!
We’ll begin our time by coming together to play a few board games and deciding what makes a good board game. We’ll dive into how the elements of board games work together, why we enjoy playing board games, and begin to ideate about our own creations. Once we have a solid idea of our own board games, we’ll practice listening for feedback and make plans for our respective games. Then we’re off and running and actively engaged in designing and seeing our games come to life! You will learn about budgeting for materials, as well as using your writing skills to create board game instructions. We’ll also have plenty of time to test out our board games with each other!
