What better way to serve our students than by guiding them to discover the links between learning and leadership? In addition to designing course curriculum around student passions and interests, we also strive to incorporate leadership development through social conversation, collaborative work, and goal setting. For example, in our Board Gamers DESIGN course, students not only work independently to design and create their own board game, they work together to learn about how to give and receive feedback and how to encourage each other’s success.
