How do I register my child for a Holiday Hangout?

• At the top of the AVA website menu click, “Holiday Hangouts.”  Then click, “Registration: Holiday Hangouts.”  Follow the few short steps to complete the registration process.  One of our staff members will reach out to you within 48 hours to confirm your registration, answer any lingering questions, and share our excitement for your child’s participation.  Wilson Memorial Church in Watchung, NJ has hired AVA to conduct the camps.  Your online registration and payment will be directed through the Wilson Memorial Church website.

Are there additional forms I need to complete for my child to attend a Holiday Hangout?

• In order for any child to participate in Holiday Hangout activities, we must have on file signed copies of the Medical Release Form, Photo Release Form, and the Child Dismissal Form.
• You may choose to scan these documents to the Head of School (kelly@andersonvanguard.com) ahead of the Holiday Hangout, or you may bring them with you to Wilson Memorial Church on the first day of the Holiday Hangout.

My child has attended a prior Holiday Hangout.  Do I need to submit the additional forms (Medical Release Form, Photo Release Form, Child Dismissal Form) again?

• If your child has attended a prior Holiday Hangout, and there have been no changes to note for the Medical Release Form, the Photo Release Form, and/ or the Child Dismissal Form, it is not necessary for you to re- submit these items.
• We will, however, require you to complete the Holiday Hangout Registration Form to ensure we know your child is participating.

Where do the Holiday Hangouts take place?

• The Holiday Hangouts are sponsored by and will take place at Wilson Memorial Church located at 7 Valley Road in Watchung, NJ.  We will utilize the Fellowship Hall and several classrooms as guests of Wilson Memorial Church.

How much does attending a Holiday Hangout cost?

• The cost for the Saturday, December 10th Holiday Hangout is $150 per child.
• The cost for the three day Holiday Hangout from Wednesday, December 28th – Friday, December 30th is $300 per child.

How do I pay for my child to attend a Holiday Hangout?

• When completing your online registration, you will be prompted to provide an online payment.

I am interested in my child attending a portion of the 3 day Holiday Hangout in December.  Do you offer discounts for a shorter participation time?

• Of course!  We understand that the holiday season is packed with family gatherings and events.  Please contact the Head of School (kelly@andersonvanguard.com) to discuss a reduced rate for shorter attendance.
• We also offer sibling discounts!

Are you licensed to host a camp in New Jersey?

• Absolutely!  AVA is fully licensed to host NJ Youth Camps by the New Jersey Department of Health.  We are also fully insured.

Will you have a Holiday Hangout (camp) during the Summer?

• Of course!  Stay tuned for more information regarding our Holiday Hangout: Summer Edition as we get closer to the Spring and Summer seasons!
